2G-specific Got dnp manifold bent???

Got my dnp manifold and runner 2 is bent, is this normal,will it harm anything is i leave it??

well if you bought that brand new I would with out a single doubt return it!!! It shouldnt harm any thing but it may effect flow some, other than that it just looks real bad.

That bend will cause a larger pressure reduction (due to a much greater loss coefficient from the abnormal bend) in the runner which could possibly burn up your valve stem seal on that exhaust value along with cause you to lose power because the harmonics of your exhaust flow will be off.

Make use of SBR's customer service and get yourself a different manifold.

That bend has to be there in order to get the nut onto the stud when you go to install it.

no the dent is not supposed to be there. Any one who says it is has never seen a dnp manifold which is normall a very sexy and well built piece.

Yours might be a little more of a dent then mine but every DNP manifold of that style has that tight bend. Send it back and you might get one with a little less of a dent.

they should refund you since they messed up, since they messed up. once they receive the item they should refund you whatever you paid to ship it back to them.

There needs to be a slight dent for the pipe, but it looks like they messed up and just shipped out a flawed part.
