leaking tps

Ok, i have the infamous idle surge. did a smoke test... only leak found was small and coming from the tps.... any thoughts...questions.

Also the "high" point of the surge lasts around 3-4 seconds...drops and then goes up again and starts over.

Throttle Body Shaft Seals. Unfortunately, 90' TB uses smaller seals on the TPS side and I'm all out of 90' shaft seals.

I had a leak at the TPS even after replacing the TB shaft seals, so I took the TPS off and put a bead of RTV around the 'lip' of it.

any differences in the connectors ect. from the 90 to the 90+?

Everything is different, vacuum fittings, TPS, ISC and connector. You can swap in a 91'+ but you will need to rewire.
