what's up! I have a 98 gsx with 255lph fuel pump, 550cc injectors, injen intake, nology plug wires, act 2100 clutch, safc I, 3"buschur racing cat back, down pipe, test pipe witch is'nt on yet tell i get a turbo upgrade, greddy upper ic pipe, greddy type s bov and mbc. i'm wondering what else i'll need to get 325hp-400hp
like what turbo and supporting mods would be best or sufficent. any info would be great. THANKS

Not necessary but DSMlink would help if not that a logger so you can tune ## safc or/and a wideband. You need to be able to tune for the bigger turbo More airflow=More fuel needed, and w/ that 255 you should have an AFPR.

you use wideband to tune S-AFCs. FMIC would make pull after pull more consistent. AFPR is not needed but it'll save you a bit gas mileage. those 550cc's are perfect for the EVO III but it'll be your weak link for your HP goal....unless you run 110 octane or higher. usually 20psi will be the limit of the 550cc+EVO III. and that's w/ a great tune. that's around 300 HP only. basically, if that is your goal HP then your gonna have to upgrade either the injectors or fuel type...otherwise, it's gonna be a hard task. good luck.

What is said above. Are you talking whp? if so you will probably need atleat 650 injectors as you can max 550's out with the evoIII. You can make the kind of whp on the evoIII but you will need a good amount of boost and cams & a sheet metal intake manifold. If you want to do it with more ease gor 20 or some sort of 50 trim. Not that the evoIII can't do it, it just takes some extra parts to get there. When going 650 and larger injectors its better to scrap the piggyback idea and go with dsmlink or get an eprom ecu and have it chipped for the larger injectors. With that size of injectors on just a piggyback it will be much harder to tune as you will be getting to much timing.

i would go witha bb 50 trim....get some 680's, dsmlink...and do it right the frist time. with an evo3 you're really gonna hafta push it. i'd rather have it easier, with more room to grow!
