Knob fell out of the Extreme XBC

One night I went WOT for some fun...then noticed my boost gauge go past 20, so I quickly let off. Tried again, same thing happened, and let off quickly. Got home and noticed that the knob on my MBC is nowhere in sight.

I have the Extreme XBC. I'm wondering if the ball in it also fell out. The "rebuild" kit from Extreme doesn't include a ball.

Or should I just goto a local hardware store and get a matching screw & locking nut?

Hmm my MBC did that too.
I got real lucky as it fell in between the fans and stayed there all the way home.
I just screwed it back in and it worked. So I don't think you need to get anything else.

Mne also did it. I lost the spring, ball and bolt.

Yeah, I took a look and it's still in there. It's just a 1 ball setup right?

Mine has done the same thing. I have a cheapo ebay MBC and i have lost 2. Good thing there only 10$. You should just put a vacuum tube in its place until you fix it.

Thanks all! I got the kit from Extreme for $10. They forgot to send the spring the first time (which is why I got it cuz I couldn't find a good spring), so they immediately shipped it out. Kudos to their great customer service!

odd, when mine fell out I ran minimum boost and rich as hell. This was with a JoeP, they sent me another spring free in 2 days.
