i recently bought a ported 14b, and it has more shaft play then my stock turbo. can i leave the turbo on the car and switch compressor housings? or is there more to it then that? the exhaust housing isnt hard, but the intake housing ive never done before. tia.,

Is only the turbine/exhaust housing ported? I don't see what good porting the compressor/intake housing would do. Have any pics?

Anyways, if only the turbine housing is ported, you don't have to swap compressor covers or CHRA's. Just pull the turbo off, remove the V-band clamp and swap out your turbine housings. You'll have to take off your 02 housing and put it on the new ported turbine housing.
