I really want to know the differance if any in compressor housing wheels and backplate. Are they compatible each other?

I have a (not installed) T3/TO4E 50trim .50A/R compresor housing and i found a great deal on a 60 trim setup crompressor wheel, housing, backplate and everything for a later upgrade, is it compatible?
What about lag?

T3 referrs to the exhaust (turbine) housing, and the T04E/T04B is the compressor housing.

The T04E is the larger of the two compressor housings.

The people I know with T04E and T04B compressor housings all have 50 trims and they didn't feel any noticeable differences in spool-up, but I'm sure some compressor efficiency is lost by having the smaller cover.

Between the "E" .60 A/R cover (please do not mistake this for 60 "Trim" compressor wheel) and the "B" .50A/R cover, is only about 20cfm in the upper rpm band over 7000rpms. The true difference in flow is between the "E" and "S" covers which is about 70-100cfm difference.

IF it is the 50 "trim" T3/T04B turbo, it is a matter of room that you have under the engine bay.
