I have a probelm with my e-01. Its just the EBC NOT the emange,so this is what happens. I hit 10psi at like 2900rpm till 5500rpm(@10psi from 2900-5500) then goes to 20psi,i think it hooked up right, maybe not tuned right though,i dont have any boost leaks either, and in 5th gear today @ 80mph @4k gave it gas went to 13psi i floored it went to 23psi??? its been doing this for couple months now, the part that sucks is before i had a ebay MBC and i dont remember if it did the same thing or not,i dont think it did, shoulda kept it,LOL here are some pic,if you want i can get pic of some settings i have?
thanks

Sounds like creep, but EBC's can be wacko sometimes.

a few things to try:

First try running a boost leak check and make sure you dont have any large leaks. (see option #3)

1. Hook a boost source directly to your wastegate, see if you can hold wastegate spring pressure. To do this you can get a straight vacuum fitting and pull both hoses off your solenoid valve from your ebc and hook them together.

2. If you have no change after doing that your turbo is creeping, see external wastegate or porting for how to solve it.

3. If you wanna check to see if your EBC is malfunctioning because you might just be able to turn the boost up and not have to worry about the creep since you have an upgraded flapper (hopefully ported). While doing your boost leak test turn your car to its on position but dont start it -- just so the e-01 gets power. The solenoid valve in the engine bay will start clicking semi-rapidly to control boost. If it clicks it's operating correctly if it doesn't it may not be working correctly. ( I did this test with my AVCR when I thought it might be my problem)
