Help With My Frustation

I have a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS and im installing a Hahn Racecraft kit on it...for some reason maybe it is because im just too frustrated but the instructions for the fuel setup makes absolutely no sense...it told me to disconnect my stock fuel pump...yet I need that to send fuel to the inline fuel pump and stock fuel filter...if anyone has actually done this or can find some better instructions than Hahn Racecraft has I would be very please....Im just trying to get this done. Also I do not need a picture or anything detailed like that to help me out...All I would need is an explanation...like this is what I think im supposed to do but not sure...

In Tank Fuel Pump -> Inline Fuel Filter -> Inline Fuel Pump -> FMU -> Fuel Rail

What im thinking is I leave the stock fuel pump connected, it runs to the inline fuel filter (stock), from there I use a Banjo Bolt to hook a fuel line from the Fuel Filter to connect to the new Inline Fuel Pump, and then from there make a fuel line that runs along the stock fuel lines and connects into my FMU. Then there are two other lines on the FMU, one goes to the fuel rail and the other goes to the fuel pressure gauge...this makes sense to me but it doesn't look correct to the info that Hahn Racecraft has given. I also realize that I have the stock Fuel Regulator right above my stock fuel filter but that is now voided because of the FMU now being my fuel regulator.

If this is correct please let me know...if not please let me know. Thanks
