Buying a Maft setup question?

I been considering buying a maf translator and gm sensor for my 2G GST. I also heard lots of pro and cons but yerterday my friends on a wrx race a spyder gst with the setup and damm he was fast. Is it safe to buy the sensor from Ebay for less than 40 bucks. Where can i find install instruction (sorry been there before but couldnt find the address)

My oppinion, too high of a price tag just for venting which I suspect to be your motivation as stock 2G mas can supply more than enough air for your current setup. Put the money towards exhaust instead.
