Blocking Wastegate Passage with JBWeld?

I have a small 16G turbo, and custom o2 housing with wastegate side blocked. and went with External Wastegate Setup. I welded the gate shut. At the Flapper and On top at the arm. The exhaust gases still leaks out of the wastegate side between the o2 housing. I was thinking of filling the wastegate passage with the flapper with WB Weld so it won't have leaks. But I was also thinking of doing the same with in side also where the manfold gases go in. To smooth out the air flow. Plus I have a crack there so thought I would fill it too. Is that a good idea? Will I have any issues with doing that?

No way, the 1500+ degree heat will melt the JB weld away in no time at all. Just take it to a local welder and have them weld it shut for under $20. Dont even waste your time, or money with JB

That would be like using elmers glue ! NO WAY WONT WORK !

i just took my flapper out and took it to a local shop and they welded it up nice for just about nothing. also i really dont think your turbo will like pieces of jb weld going through its fins. just my .02

jb weld turns to dust in about a day of boosting on these cars. get it welded.
