I have a dodge shelby intercooler from the late 80's (black) and it is a bit bigger than stock and I was wondering if anyone has pressure tested them or know if they could work on a 1g and with what modification

are you reffering to the stock 2.2L or 2.5L turbo intercooler that sits directly next to the radiator? My friend had one of these on his 2.2L daytona and it sucked ballz.

none of those pictures are close, but like I said it is black and I know it came off of a dodge shelby turbo, do both intercoolers from the 2.2 and the 2.5 suck?

here is a pic of the intercooler

That's a stock intercooler off of a turbo 2 2.2 or 2.5. It was originally next to the radiator on the chryslers. If i were in your shoes, i wouldn't waste my time. First off, if i remember correctly, the ic is a pretty thin core, so although it may be a bit taller than your stocker, it probably isn't any more efficient, possibly less. Also, the amount of time and energy required to install it would be much better spent on setting up a MKIV supra ic (assuming your staying with a smic). You can do whatever you want, and it would be worth a shot, but again, if it were me, i'd save my time and money.
