Ok i just finished installing the EVO3 GT turbo on my 2gen. I noticed when putting on the oil return hose that came with the 2gen install kit (the hose that goes from the bottom of the turbo to the oil pan) that well, the hose sucked. It was too short by about an inch, so it kinked a little bit.
But then i took it out for a test drive... and it was spewing oil out of both the fittings. I don't understand because i have the gaskets it came with on there, and the flanges are tightened very well. Has anyone else had this problem whether installing the EVO3 16g or EVO3 GT on their 2gen? If so, how did you get around this problem?
P.S.- Im pretty sure this is an install kit or both EVO3 16g and EVO3 GT, so I don't want to hear any "you get what you pay for" or "EVO3 GT's suck" I did my research.
