How much do injectors wear?

i have 650 injectors from FIC, but have decided not to put them in due to a desire to get densos for peace of mind (and RRE refuses to tune a car with FIC injectors.. haha). My question is this: i have found a couple of good deals on denso 660's with under 10k miles on them...

but how wise is it to buy used injectors? how much do they wear?

my inclination tells me that since they are not on any scheduled maintenance for any car i know of, they dont wear quickly, especially if they are quality like denso.

I know that running close to 100% Duty cycle wears them out quick. If I was to buy used injectors I would send them out to someplace like RC and have them cleaned and serviced. but then again I would'nt buy used injectors.

I don't think it wears them out so much as overheats the coil.

I bought two sets of 680cc injectors from RX7's that were 20 years old (1984 RX7) and sent them out to be flow tested and cleaned. They flowed within 1% of eachother BEFORE CLEANING and the same afterwards. 680, 680, 680, 684. Also RX7 is a harsh climate for injectors as they are way hotter under hood than most piston motors.
