Im planning on going with the tial bov and a slowboy fmic with the new build. I was just curious since I am going with the dsmlink is there a setting to vent without needing a maft? Or since the wire connection is different is the maft still needed to vent properly?

In the next release there will be native GM MAF support in DSMlink. As of now, you need MAFt.

So if one wanted to Vent, would there still be the need for the MAF-T if I plan on buying the Link (when it comes with GM MAF support).

Does anyone know when the Link is gonna come around?

You don't need a maft with dsmlink, however if you are running a GM MAF then YES you need the MAFT(ranslator) *hint hint* so your computer will get the proper signals from a GM MAS that was not intended for our cars. Anytime the MAF is before the BOV you shouldn't vent, if it's after then its ok. In order to move it after you need either a GM setup or the AEM.
