My blow off valve (Greddy Type S) used to sound perfect. Then we put in the Greddy Profec B boost controller. And the blow off valve sounds like my cousins old Golf Turbo Wastegate after he would let off the gas. Like someone got shot, guh hu hu hu. What do I do, how should I adjust the BOV?

The vac lines probably arent hooked up right. Make sure the vac line going to the top nipple on the BOV is correct and secure. Also if you turned down the boost, your BOV adjustment might be set too hard, not letting it open.

I'll check and secure the hoses.

So when the boost controller is running at 0%, its running lower than stock? If so, what percent is stock?

when you hook up the boost controller the wrong way, it will automaticly boost 10psi. so check your boost gauge and see what your boosting, it should be a dead givaway if your boostin 10.

Ive only got the stock boost gauge.

Hahaha you know guh hu hu hu! :rocks:

your modding your car with a boost controller with out a gauge that actually reads what your at? :notgood: Just invest into a gauge and figure out your boost. That will help us in helping you alot.

Yeah I bought the damn thing months ago and it was sitting in my room. So we installed it, but I havent been running anymore boost. I've kept it at 0% since we put it in.

Boost gauge should your first mod especially before any boost related mods including the BOV. Install a boost gauge before you start messing with the EBC.

I'll do that, thanks.

My cousin said he'll give me his stock Wrx boost gauge until I buy a regular one
