I made a stupid mistake

I bought a used EVO III turbo on ebay, the threads for the manifold to turbo bolts were pretty messed up so I ran a tap threw them. Only problem is I used a 10 x 1.5 tap, should have been a 10 x 1.25 tap. If I go buy the correct tap are the threads still fixable or should I just get it helicoiled?

I just had an idea. I could go buy some 10 x 1.5 bolts to use instead.

Just make sure they're grade 8 bolts.
