Well I just bought an AWD Turbo Laser for $1,500. I already knew the piston rings were going bad and the back calipers were grabbing on sharp turns, but look what else I found today when I was tearing it down.

The compressor wheel is locked down tight and the bov was spitting oil all over the engine bay...

The day before I bought it I drove it around the block and it was boosting fine, but on the way home last night after I bought it I noticed it wasn't boosting and it wouldn't rev over about 3k.

I'm in the process of taking the turbo off to see if something got caught in it or if it was starved.

Yeah I was thinking about getting it rebuilt. If I could just get the damn bolts holding the turbo to loosen up!!

I also noticed that the right-rear wheel is missing two lug nuts and I looked closer and the rotor was missing the studs! Looks like I've gotta replace the rotor as well. Oh well, I bought it for a project car and that's what I got. LOL!

the rotor dont have to be replaced,go buy wheel studs from pep boys or any auto parts store there like a dollar a piece.Try alot of pb blaster on the turbo bolts, make sure you got a good socket on it.

ROFL

I think the guy that drove it to meet me broke it actually. It was running just fine the day before and as soon as I drove it away I could tell something was wrong. It's ok I'm upgrading to a Big 16g. :p
