I was goign to go with an FP Green.. I ordered it, but one month later FP called me telling me that the FP green has been on back order for months, and if id like to go with an FP Red, well, i told them id get back to them and never did because some of the money i had for the turbo had been spent on other needed things. so now looking at turbos i see that AGP has a great deal especially with the warrenty of these turbonetics turbos.

For my-set up i would like to ask the opinon of you guys, what turbo will be better for my set up.

My Supporting Mods are.

6-bolt block
FMIC
Water Injection
DSMLink
GM Maft - GM MAS
750 FIC Injectors
255 Pump
2G Pistons 1G Rods
38mm Wastegate
Apex "Stage 3" Race Head

I am thinking of going with the RS49T, because i do not have a better piston/rod setup
for the 60~1 RS60T, but what do you guys think?

I was in the same boat and went for the RS60T. I'm only pushing 18psi but holy shit it pulls pretty hard and very smooth. I didn't want to have to upgrade the turbo again later on down the line. Good luck!

hands down rs60... I've owned the 50 and 60trims and the 60 is amazing.

Pardon my ignorance, what's the difference between a 60 trim and a 60-1?

If this is going on a street car, get the 50 trim. I've got an FP Green and wouldn't trade it for the world for another turbo that's going on a street car. It makes plenty of power on 93 octane. Enough to get me going 120mph in the 1/4 driving into a 20mph headwind. It hits 26psi by 4100rpm on a bone stock bottom end.

On another note, I recently put an 8cm housing on the Green, in order to try to pick up a few more hp in my quest to be the 2nd Green in the 10's, no nitrous. Let me tell you, an 8cm housing is very similiar to having a 60-1 turbo on the car. I don't hit full boost until almost 4500rpm. It feels like an eternity waiting for it to hit. There's definitely more top end there, but you have to wait longer for it.

A track car will fare well with a 60-1 wheel, but for a street car, it's hard as hell to beat a 50 trim wheel.

Why not try the Bullseye housing? It's supposed to spool like a 7cm and have top end like an 8cm.

I went from a TDO6 20g to my RS60T and there is no lag difference at all. I actually think the 60-1 spools a little faster and I do get full boost by 4K. For the same price why wouldn't you want the bigger/better turbo. At 18psi this turbo feels like my 20g at 25psi. Those are some nice #'s on that FP though.
