Good evening everyone ! I am new to the DSM world, and loving it so far !!! Got bored with my Neon R/T so decided a TSI was the way to go :D . Love DSMTUNERS. Hoping for some help for a newbie. Long story short, I had a stock turbo in a 91 talon automatic ( I know... pls don't laugh at me, I'm sensitive  ) die due to oil problems. So I ordered a TDOH5 14B. I read my engine would Handle it fine and it would bolt right on. It does and all went smooth.. until i tried to connect the oil / coolant feed tubes. They are diff sizes on the eye bolts ( i believe that is what they are called ). The new 14B want a step up in size for each of the 3 lines. I need suggestions on a fix. I need to have the stock banjo fitting on each of the 3 lines, but a step larger on each of the other ends. I don't know if i am making any sense at all !! If anyone understands and has a suggestion on where to get the supplies for this or has sizes i should look for.. pls let me know. Thanks all !

Just use a drill to elongate the bolt holes on the oil line flange - many people do it that way.

He's not talking about the oil return. He's referring to the banjo fittings on the oil feed and water lines.

Lama_1G_TSI - I wish I had some info for you, but I dont. I have never researched/used a 13b like your lines are for. I do know that the 14b uses 12mm banjo bolts and fittings.

I went through the same sh*t with my old 13G when I was upgrading to a 16G...
I ended up running a new SS Oil feed from the filter housing, the Oil return that is on the car will work (with some minor bending).
Look around in a wrecking yard for the right sized banjo bolts... I remember I got 2 of mine out of a Nissan Maxima's power steering rack.. I can't remember where I got the last one (you will need 3 larger banjo bolts).
The REAL problem is replacing the "U" shaped coolant line that attaches to the hard lower radiator line... Even with a line wrench, mine was impossible to remove while it was in the car. -I ended up replacing the whole assembly with that of one out of a 1G MT Turbo DSM.
If I were you, I'd plan on doing this, if not, you risk not being able to get the old 13G's "U" shaped line off of the hard lower radiator line.
I have met others that have opened up the eyelet's diameter on the existing "U" shaped line just enough to be able to use that larger sized banjo bolt, but I wouldn't recommend it, as it might not seal correctly with the crush washers.
Good Luck

Maybe you should just scrap the banjo bolt idea & use SS braided lines on it. You can get a whole setup (oil feed line, return line, fittings, & flanges) from cheapturbolines.com or on ebay for about $70.
I'm researching the same issue - I want to make my own turbo oil lines for my 16g instead of paying someone else. (It'll still cost me around $60-70, though)
I just haven't found the proper fittings yet.
Let me know what you find.

Good idea with the oil line, but you will still need to come up with a solution for the coolant lines... the 14b & 16G center section's coolant passages are larger than those on our OE 13bs.

-I did see something on Summit Racing that might work for the coolant lines... Not sure if you have enough room to get them in there, but it was the only other solution I could see for this delema... Here is what was available at the time:

I just ended up going with a whole lower radiator line that I found on a 14b DSM. -Cheaper, less of a PITA, and my water pump was on starting to leak anyway.

most general machine and truck shops carry brass fitting in -an and ntp sizes, and have a ton of different adapters. I would try there, as it would be much cheaper. Although, by getting new bigger lines, you'd be getting more oil to fill the bigger passage in the turbo. I would recommend getting new lines, but a cheap way to go would be get adapters. Take it easy.

Go to the dealer.
I just finished changing an 11b to a 14b on my 4g61 Colt turbo.
The oil supply line was $24 and the water lines were only $14 and $18 each ,from Mitsubishi
with only a one day wait. The banjo bolts avg. about $4 each. The oil return line is the same size and could be re-used.
In my case saving a lot of time was worth more than saving a few dollars.
