ok i am going to be getting a sbr gt11 turbo and was wondering if i should keep my 264 cams or sell em and get some 272's???? ud think that since the 264's are a low end cam theyd help spool up the bigger turbo and the turbo would take care of the top end or am i worng please help thankx

ryan

keep em the gt 11 is a 46 or 50 trim wheel i didnt look on their site so i cant sya for sure and it has good topend but i see no sense in spending more money for 272's when the 264's you have will benefit you both ways

Don't sell to rayray, he sounds like a scammer. :p I'll take the cams. :)

what would be the point of mixing them? i read on a tech article thats been posted here before that the 264 beat both the 272 and the 264 272 combo in power gains and spool up with a b16g......

the reason he would mix is because he is getting a turbo thats bigger than a 16g and would benefit from a bigger cam

I would keep the 264's if you are going to do most of your driving on the street. A 264/272 setup would be the next step if you really must have the higher duration cam.
