How good is the pte internal gate???

I am getting a pte scm5031 50 trim and I want to know how good their internal wastegate is. I would like to go with the internal and I want to know how well it worked for you.

i can run about 16psi on mine, but im sure if i loosened the rod i could go lower. I've heard of guys blowing gates open with big turbos on big boost, but i havnt had a problem. Tighten the wastegate rod, turn the boost controller up and it will hold 27psi steady.
 
I have a question about internally gated pte turbo's. Could you take the vacuum line off, plug the nipple on the compressor cover, and run a boost controller off of the nipple on the wastegate actuator valve just like 14b's, 16g's, etc..?
 
i have a pte scm50 .63 a/r 76 hot side internal wg.. running wiht no boost control it is steady at 15-16 psi .. no spike/creep.. stock 2g mani and o2 housing to a 3" turboback.. with my profec b type s.. it reacts accordingly to how i set the ebc.. 18psi is steady and so is 21-23.. no problems

yes, this is what i do. I've heard taking a boost source from the intake manifold is better anyways.

The outlet of the mbc always goes to the nipple on the actuator, What exactly are you trying to ask? Either you need to rephrase your question or you need to read up on how MBCs work.
 
MY review would be like everyone elses.
I have it on my 50 trim without the divider being cut.
After I ported my o2 housing and port matched everything.....no creep or spikes.
I could run it as low as 15lbs rock steady. It runs 21 daily without a hitcup
