Please forgive the gh3y title, I couldn't resist, sorry.
Lately I've been seeing a bunch of folks who are making huge leaps and bounds toward DASMing (de-assembling) the DSM ECU's codes from the EPROMs. The focus is currently centered on the 1G's, since DSMlink seems to have abandoned us.
If we have any electronics wiz's in here who don't yet know about these, check them out! We need more folks who know what they're doing to help crack the code.
Imagine a world for us 1Gers could:
- Adjust fuel/timing curves & compensate for larger injectors (without a SAFC)
- Set your own idle
- Set your own rev limit
- Enable/disable stutterbox at your desired RPM limit
- Program in your own security startup sequence
- Program in your own A/C cut/RPM
- REMOVE FUEL CUT.
And reprogram pretty much anything else you can imagine that is controlled by the ECU. IN REAL TIME, in the car, while the car is running - without a standalone, using your laptop or palm.
