I get all of my readings from the 02 sensor on my turbo 02 housing. How important is the 02 sensor in my catback and does it have a big effect on how the car runs?

No, the factory just put that there for sh1ts and giggles. Read up on OBDII and the reason for the O2 sensors.

i'm running without the second o2 sensor, and no problems. just check engine light, but doenst hurt performance.
