Hey whats up All, Just had a newbee question, because now i am confused. I tought if you ran youre car leaner it would run faster but burn youre internal engine components.
Well my car was running like crap on the top end, I stomped on the gas and noticed my Air Fuel meter was staying in the orange, (middle). I pulled over checked my fuel gage it was set at 41psi, then I changed it to 46, and WOW big difference, ALOT better. then I noticed 3rd and 4th gear the air fuel meter would bounce around in green, so i set it at 50psi at the fuel gage with the vacume line disconected and
another HUGE difference, now every gear my gage reads last line green.
Was I starving my engine? Can someone please explain this. I tought if you ran richer the car would run slower but safer???
any toughts,
Thanks
Miguel
