Wiring the SAFC?

Ok, the question is simple. I know how to wire the AFC up, I'm just not sure how I want to go about doing so. I do not want to solder anything so close to my ECU, so that's out of the question. And I've heard the vampire connectors aren't reliable enough. So what route did you take, or what route do you suggest I take?

Well, its best. Gotta be a good, reliable connection after all.

Take the ECU out from behind the dash, unhook the one clip that holds the wiring harness so far back in there, and pull the whole mess a bit farther into the light of day.

Then remove alot of the tape and covering. This way you can get a larger piece of wire to work with. The green wire for the MAF signal was like 8" long when I cut it. Working with 4" wires is not too bad really.

its all in the preparation. Make sure all the SAFC wires are pre-tinned and ready to solder and also make sure you have a hot enough iron. Some of these wires soak up heat like a stock sidemount .

Check, double check, recheck and finally, check your wiring.
