I'm still new to this tuning stuff and it still kinda freaks me out. I got done tuning last night and i think i've got it set pretty well but, it still worries me. Reassure me i've got everything in the safe zones.

This is all on a sm 16g, 93octane, at 20psi, w/ supra sidemount, 255;ph rewired pump, 550's and an afcII.

my egt's read a 950' idle and a max of 1450' during a pull.

my afc settings are at:

LOW
-10 across

High
-14 from 800-1200
-13 from 1800-2400
-12 from 3000-4000
-11 at 4600
-10 at 5200
-9 at 5800
-8 at 6400
-7 at 7000

my logs read LTFT at -9 till 4700 rpms then 0 to redline. Timing starts at 6' and climbs to 19' by redline. 02's read .94v till 4100rpms, then .96 to redline.

I think this is all good and safe and my leave me a bit of room to lean things out in the lower rpms. Would somepeople dispell my fears and second me on this?

Jon

you are well within the safe zone, 1450 egt's are pretty low, which means you are running rich and your o2's agree with that, you could probably lean it out a few percent overall and get your egt's up to the 1550's and o2's down to .92 or so

if your worried, dont be, you are running very safely

Thanks, I really appreciate the replies. The fact I can ruin my engine with this tuning stuff makes me very cautious.

very nice timing at redline.....but it should peak to 24 around 4500 or so then slowly drop to 19* by redline....that what i have noticed on my 1G with 1 or 2 counts of knock off the line, then settling to zero for the rest of the run. Alcohol injection is e blessing :)
