I have a 1991 talon tsi ,and I installed the aem ems system. I have most of the tunning done but it still runs rich. I have a post on the aem forum, but the site seems to be down right now. I did know that with the ems I had to upgrade the knock sensor to a 2g sensor. I am not sure if I have to use a wideband o2 with it also. I am wondering if someone has the aem ems and ran into the same problem. If I need to run a wideband o2 is the a certin one I should use? My mods are a open k&n filter ,hks bov, underdrive pulley, and the aem ems. I have a 3" turbo back exhaust, turbonetics t4 turbo and a fidenza flywheel, all not installed yet. I am trying to get the ems tunned in before installing other mods. I also melted the cat running it so rich. Thats why I bought the exhaust. If you have any advise hit me back. thanks

Wideband is not required for the AEM, but it is a definite plus. Makes tuning a breeze from what I've read.

I've heard good and bad things about the AEM WB, some say it's resolution is too narrow to be any use. But then I hear people say they love it, so it may be people not correctly setting up the WB .

I've heard nothing but good things about the FJO WB, although it does cost alot more than the AEM unit. But alot of people love it.

This is just from my research so far on the AEM, I hope to get the AEM next year after I have completed my supporting mods.
