3" Gm Mas

Ok guys I need your help with a quick question. What GM MAF do I need?

I thought I was in need of the Camaro 5.7L air flow meter but after reading a post in the classifieds it seems I actually need the 3.4L?

If anyone knows which one I truly need please let me know as I plan on ordering one like today.

This should help you. It's a list of compatible 3" and 3.5" GM MAFs.

Cool I was going to do that but when i contacted ramchargers (since no one had replied yet) to find out what engine Impala SS the MAF came off he said you need to have the maf that comes in the V8 5.7L LTI. According to the list you linked its the V6 model on all of those cars.

Have you already received your MAF and does it work properly?

I dont understand why it wouldn't work. Someone posted that list saying that those MAFs all are essentially the same. I received my MAF and it looks like the ones Ive seen in people's setups. I do not have the MAF-T yet.

yup saw on your list that it says 1994 Impala SS LTI1. I ordered mine as well for 27 shipped...

Any MAF on that list. All the 3" MAF's are the same and all the 3.5" MAF's are the same. I got mine from a 96 corsica and it works fine.

When buying a maf, search for a impalla and you will be fine. I searched for a 1996 impalla and ended up getting an achieva maf. Works fine for me. I got it for only 24.99 shipped. This was before marshalls realized their price was very cheap. Now they are 27.00, big increase!:laugh:

Tuning is pretty simple. The directions are self explanitory. The settings are injector specific.

i was just on marshallauto and i emailed them and they just sent me an automated response telling me to call..is this what you guys had to do? call? did they take paypal?

marshalls was sold out when I went to get one. You can get them from various places. Try car-parts.com. They will give a listing of all of them plus who is the cheapest

We have a similar set up, but in my case I had the HKS S-AFR. I didn't see or feel any need for it so I had it removed completely. Tuning is solely done via MAFT.
