ECU help!!!

Well i had posted a while back about some problems with my car loading up after i drove it for a while. Well i tried a new ECU and it works fine now. I have been looking for some ECU's and come across some guys that have them, but some of them are CA emissions. Is there a difference in the computers and if i hook them up on my car that is NON-CA emissions will it still work fine? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx guys.

no it will not work the same. They had extra sensors and I think they ran differently, but I'm not sure about that.
