TMO Datalogging Software

Well if you registered with tmo when you bought the logger, I am sure it wouldn't be a problem, but I have seen a lot of people say the same thing about a crashed computer and beeding the software. All of which are complete BS. I don't know about you, but if I paid ( and I did ) $300 for some software, I sure as the hell wouldn't lose it.

I completely understand with what you said, thats why I was crossing my fingers I'd somehow be able to find it. I bought my car a few months ago and the previous owner threw in the datalogger so I'm not registered..and unfortunatly due to him being an #@%#@%#@%#@%#@%#@%#@%! and screwing me over, I have completely lost contact with him. Is there any other way I can get ahold of the software? I feel that I did pay for when I bought the car. Thanks for any help.

Since when did the TMO software come on CD? I've only ever seen it on diskette. Makes one wonder if you really had it at all....

If you did have it, contact Todd, and if you have proof of ownership, I'm sure he'll send you the new disks.

Okay, so basically you're admitting to not having one at all.

1) Todd doesn't send them out on "blank CDs"

2) The cable doesn't go anywhere *NEAR* the ECU.

Perhaps you may just want to actually buy one instead of trying to pirate one. Nice try though.

I really dont want anyone thinking I'm trying to do that. The previous owner gave me the software on blank cd, maybe he copied it over from a disk? And now that you said that about the cable, I went back and traced it down to that white port. I had always assumed it just came from the ecu. Sorry about the confusion, I emailed TMO for help. Like someone said earlier, maybe if I can describe the cable or read a number off it (if there is one, not in the car right now) maybe they can help me out.

In 4 minutes, you went out and retraced the wire, came back in and typed this up? White plug??? Sorry, it's not a white plug either.

Sheesh...almost a full week and no one responded to that. White plug where it plugs into the *DATA CABLE*.....the kid obviously had given up
