sony clie sl10 logging

i bought a sony clie palm pilot yesterday for primarily datalogging in my 92 eclipse. I was wondering which cable i should purchase. I have talked to digital tuning inc. and with their cable the abs light comes on. But with the one that you can buy from www.dsmparts.com there is a problem with the clie palm. The guy i talked to said that some people have been able to make it work by switching two wires. Any body who knows the clie trick would be a great help. Actually any general datalogging advice would be welcome.

oh by the way i will be using palm'n'stein to do the logging.

i have a sl-10 and a 92 tsi i bought a cable off e-bay from moonlight tech. it was like 6.99 or something. just put in key words clie serial cable and a ton will come up. mine works great!!!!!!!!!!!
