Do I need a pressure regulator if I upgrade my fuel pump on my car? I have an ESi and I really need to know if there Will be too much fuel running.

well clue us in on why you are needing more fuel? what size pump are you thinking about. We need some more info! cant tell you anything on just do you think I will need a AFPR with a pump?

well I thought that my fuel pump might be going out and my friend said to check the fuel pump sock or filter. so idid. and it was clean. so I was wondering if I get a higher performance pump that I would need a regulator. I have a talon esi and I was not thinking of running 255 or anythin just a little higher than stock.

Well if you dont really have any mods done to it and you dont plan on it there is no reason to spend money that will not help you IMO. does the car run?

It runs like very rough at idle and when ever you go it acts like its missing. They say it could be the O2 sensor since it was not the fuel pump. And in the future I am planning on adding a turbo kit to make it a 13 sec car. Soo...

Get a 190 lph pump, and you won't need a FPR.
