Hello all, it's been a long time I know, but I am back....Anyway, I have a problem that I know you all can help with.....I just got my car from the shop and I had major amounts of work done to her...10K worth. But, ever since I got her back I've been running very rich...."you can smell it";) Anyway, I have tried to adjust my S-AFC and I am pretty high on my LO settings, but I can't get her to run leaner....I just want to get her back lean and when I try trimming her up she starts to sputter and stalls and gets major hesitation upon lift off. I am venting....I am going to fix that VERY soon. I have a hacked 2G MAS, with screw backed out flush.....I really think my O2 sensor is bad as well....the readings I get bounce around all over the place at idle and WOT....I could stomp on the gas and get a 0.1 reading for a second then 0.7, then 0.2, etc..etc..Anyway, to make a long story short (thank God!) I wanted to know what you all think? Bad MAS (It was changed out twice and still same), Bad O2, Venting,....??

Thanks
Dave

Do you have a datalogger?

The way you say that you are "pretty high" on your LO SAFC settings worries me. You want to pull the correctin factors DOWN in order to lean the car out.

So, you have a 2g MAS in a 1g. WHat are you running for fuel injectors? What exactly are your SAFC settings?

Sorry about that I forgot about my 550 Injectors in my profile. Right now I am set at:

LO +39, +24, +15, +5, +5, +5, +5
HI -1, -2, -2, -2, -2, +2, +2, +2

I'm going to my buddies house on Thursday to hookup to datalogger....I NEED to get one of those things (Pocketlogger).:D

no expert but if your running rich lean out that afc..right?? but ya logger definently and venting is got to be hard to tune for

You have your Lo settings backwards. Think of the AFC as adding or subtracting fuel. The negative numbers subtract fuel, and vise-versa. Start off with -10 across the board and work from there.

You also need to tell us what your mods are.. turbo, FP and so on.

Also, stop venting. That will make things MUCH harder to tune.. and shoudn't be done anyway.

You don't want -10% with a 2g MAS and 550's. You probably want about +5% all the way across.
