Does anyone know anything about the 2G's ECU EPROM. Eg. addresses that controls the fuel, ignition, idling, etc...????? Need some help here... cause I just fitted a custom made 4 throttle body on to the car and I have to tune the darn thing. The S-AFC that I already have doesn't do jack... so have resulted to tune the EPROM directly. Any tips? I could only find a Nissan Eprom Editor with all the nice tuning variables on the internet... :( Any help is appreciated... thanks

he's right tho, there should be a way to do this without having expensive aftermarket stuff. Just a laptop and some software.

I don't understand this enough to know how, but it should be possible.

If you are going to tune an EPROM, you will need an EPROM burner as well. Unless of course, you get a DSMLink EPROM, that allows you to tweak some values.
The reason you need the burner is because the EPROM can't be rewritten by the ECU, so anytime you need to change something, you would have to remove the EPROM, erase and rewrite the EPROM using the burner, and then put the EPROM back in. DSMLink gets around this by storing the adjustable variables in unused RAM on the processor. To do this the way they do it, you would have to rewrite the stock code. Big hassle.

What is it that you can't tune with the quad throttle body setup, and the AFC? Were you able to get the AFC tuned fine before the TB setup? Have you changed anything else in the process?

I do have an EPROM eraser and burner... just need the addresses and mapping.
Well I am running a 4G63 non turbo engine. I have a home made MAF to MAP converter that works with the stock ECU. Don't have any problems with that on the original engine. Now I have custom made a 4 throttle body sourced from a SR20DET engine.(don't ask me how much it cost... ouch) After fitting it in i only have enough fuel from low rpms, when I reach 4000rpm or so my AFR reads lean...:( I am trying the fix the problem by fitting in RX7 injectors but then I have too much fuel for my low RPMs. So much that my AFC can't tune down... that is why I have to get into the EPROM...

I doubt anyone who has gone through the time and trouble od figuring it all out will just give it away. You will have to reverse engineer it like the rest of us.

Thought so too...:( Anyway I guess I will just have to build myself an EPROM emulator and log all the addresses that is accessed while the car is running....

You should be able to fine tune it with your home made MAP to MAF converter. The converter worked with your setup previously right? I assume it takes into account the VE of your engine, if its set up properly. The VE should be what has changed, so remapping it should get you the desired results. Seems like a lot less work to do that, than it would be to try to figure out the ECU stuff.
