EGT=700C@2500RPMs

I installed my Greddy EGT today
and idle 500C/932F
and cruising at 2500rpms I'm at 700C/1292F
i havent taking it to WOT yet, but with these temps I dont think thats a good idea.

I have a T28 on the stock fuel system. I only run 13-14psi. i heard 16psi is safe with my setup. I doubt that now.

but 700C while under vacuum
how does that sound to you?

k, thanx.
its a bit wet out but I only got to get WOT run through 3rd and a bit of 4th. Its peaking a tad over 800C, like 810C. so I guess its ok.
Ill get a little more runs later on when its dry

I have seen knock at 850c, and had none at 920-930c. So be careful when talking about this. Also, when your injectors run out of breath has nothing to do with what your EGTs are, but what yuor set AF ratio is and what your air MASS flow is. Do a search for "egt" and my user name, I think the info I posted is on page 2. It was locked thanks to some of our fine members, but its still there. Anyone attempting to tune with an EGT guage should at least read it, and I hope it helps someone.

I found the link for you: Egt
