I am trying to install palmstein on my palm 3 and I have a problem. I can sync it onto my palm but when I try to run it I get a fatal exception error screen and it asks me to reset. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? I really want to log my 1/8th mile runs tomarow.

Is that what happens when you dont have the right os? Because I have os 3.0 but someone gave me the 3.5 update and I synced it onto my palm. But when I go to system it still says os 3.0 but the update is in the info. Did I install it wrong or something?

I know it came with os 3.0 but someone sent me a os 3.5 upgrade and I sync'd it onto my palm and it still wont work. Do I have to do something other then just sync the os on to the palm get it to work? Does anyone happen to have another 3.5 upgrade they can send me so I can see if the os I was given is faulty?

you said on your previous post that even after hotsyning the new OS, it stiill showed 3.0 ? perhaps you didn;t sync it properly ?

Its still says system version 3.0 at the top of the info page, but if you scroll down it shows os version 3.5. Is the one at the top supposed to change? What is the correct way to sync a new os onto the palm?
