OK THE ONLY recent thing ive done is installed the 3.5in mas and translater blow through style, car ran like a champ. didnt abuse it just a 3rd gear pull. parked it and 1 week later started it up ran fine for a few minutes and then craped out,.
i hooked up a dattalogger to it today and my idle timing is at the best +14 and veryys around there. with a gental step om the gas the timing advances to peak +37 degrees at about 2300 rpm.. and my
also my throttle position is at 9% at idle
the head was rebuilt about 5k ago all timing belts tensioners,ect
this is my first time using a datalogger so i wasnt sure what all to log, and was kinda in a hurry to not have my car running so long. any other other info i can provide let me know ill get it .
and no i havent hooked back up my stock mas. i really dont think thats my problem.the car was flooding alot after a drive before this.
also my tach on the dash will read about 500rpm at idle and im logging about 1030rmp at idle?????????????there is a rpm wire ive tapped into off the cas but ive checked it, its tight. and like i said it ran like a champ after install of the translater, so im really looking elswhere for now.
