i was just wondering if i could reflash my Spyder GS's ECU with Ceddy's GST ROM, all i did was set the Injector Flow to 660cc and saved it. yes my GS has the Black Box and can be flashed, i just need to know if it would work if it had the GST image with the Turbo fuel/timing maps (GS w/Turbo btw).

Lets say you can do what you are asking, what are you going to do about knock control? N/t Spyders do not come with a knock sensor so the ecu will not retard timing when engine knock occurs. Unless you can somehow program the parameters for knock control into the n/t spyder ecu, my advice would be to find a flashable turbo ecu.

I'd say you probably can, but you'll need to play with it some since you're running a 2.4.

well with the fuel maps, the ECU is looking for a specific AFR value right? regardless of displacement, it'll always try to get the desired AFR. correct me if i'm wrong, thats just my understanding from ECUFlash

I'm not 100% on how ecuflash works, and my brain isn't working right today LOL, or I'd try to explain

it uses the coding from the ECU & a formula to convert the random number/letter hex code to an AFR value. Got that info from a youtube vid of a guy going through the basics of ECUFlash while flashing his Evo
