Alternatives to DSMLink....

Well, I'm tired of looking for a 95 Eprom and wanted to know a similar alternative. The AEM EMS is a little bit much and I've heard people are having problems with it. The Haltech is a little bit much too and seems like a pain to install/getting it running. Any suggestions?

PMS doesnt seem too practical of an alternative to me. At close to a grand, its got almost all of the cost, with a fraction of the benefit, of the AEM EMS. MAYBE if you picked the PMS up used for a lot less than it cost, it would be worth it, but I dont think I would.

The eManage is a bit cheaper, I'd get it over a PMS.

But considering how much you have already sunk into your car, I'd say the EMS with some $$$ spent on real dyno tuning would pay off in performance. Key to this is buying from a place that has already had a good bit of success tuning the EMS, and knows what they are doing.

Contact the guys at DSMLink, see if they can point you to a source for an eprom ecu, or know of anyone that has the system already and is looking to sell it. I saw an eprom ecu for sale on dsmtrader.

Go to www.car-part.com, you will find plenty of ECUs. Just call & make sure the ECU has the letter "E" in the lower right hand corner of the sticker with the part numbers.
