AEM EMS EVO 8 into a 97 GST

I found someone selling there AEM EMS series 2 from there EVO 8. I have a 97 gst. I am wondering if this is plug and play or will I need to switch some pins around or can I get a adapter harness from AEM. I have seen a thread I believe about this before but can't find it. I have some pics of the AEM EMS I am buying. Let me know.

I believe it will plug up, but you may need to switch pins.

That serial number is a 6300 which makes it for a 1G not an EVO8 (plus that only has 3 connectors on it not 4 like the 2G or EVO).... Yes you can use it if you are willing to put some work into making it work. You would have to take the same steps you would in order to run a 1G ecu in a 2G (harness adapter or rewire your car with a custom harness).

So does AEM make a plug and play harness for a 1g into a 2g? Been trying to search for one and haven't came up with anything.

I don't think there is anyone who actually makes a 1G-2G ECU jumper harness. There was some talk a while back about MAP or maybe RRE making one but I don't know if they ever did. There are a few threads on making your own. Try looking for EVO8 ECU or 2G ECU in a 1G.
