I have a 95 GST, with 99 gsx ecu and 97 cas, and just removed all the evap, and egr stuff last night, and now my rpms are jumpy at idle. When sitting and idling it jumps from 1000 to 1500, goes back down to 1000 then jumps back up to 1500. When driving, it works fine with no problems, it only does it while idling. I also just installed a maft, 3 1/2" maf, and catch can and ever since I did that the idle was lower than normal, even after adjusting the idle screw. I currently have the maft set to 3 1/2" maf and everything else zeroed out, when I bought the car I was told it had 650cc injectors, but I believe that they may actually just be the stock 450cc injectors. My check engine light is also on, and has been since I installed the maft, maf, and catch can, it is saying that the evap solenoid circuit is malfunctioning, and also has a pending code for idle air control.

Also when I removed the egr and evap, I left the wires connecting to the solenoid (or whatever it is that the wires were connected to) and just removed all the vacuum hoses from them. I got the block off plate where the egr used to be and also have a breather filter on where the line from the fuel tank to evap was.

Do I just need to change the evap solenoid? That solenoid is also making a sound like a spark jumping inside it sometimes also. Occasionally the check engine light decides to turn off too.

I have also tried to set the maft to 450cc injectors, but it doesn't seem to work right when I do it.

This is the maft I have, it is version 2.01.

This is the mode switch. I the manuel I found online for this is says:

MAF Selection
Mode Switch:
1 2
OFF OFF 3" MAF
ON OFF 3.5" MAF
OFF ON 85mm MAF
ON ON Extreme MAF

I don't understand what mode 1 and mode 2 are though.

On this, most of the things I have read about it say the first nob is base, then idle, then mid, then wot. On my maft the first two nobs say maf base and wot, then the second two say spark base and wot.

The aux for 450cc injectors should be 4, right? My car is also running very rich right now as well.

Sorry for all the questions, just haven't been able to figure this out on my own. I also have an obd2 scanner with data logger so I can fine tune the maft, but I don't understand the readings that the data logger is giving me.
