Heres my friends GSX got dyno'd tuned and this is what he got.........WTF
Mods are: wally 255 rewired,-10 fuel line,1250 injectors,magnus fuel rail,magnus intake,1g/2g rod - piston setup,hks 264 intake and exhaust speed density set up,nicely modded head,full 3'' inch exhaust,hx35 on .55 ar BEP housing, 38mm tial wastegate....Those are the important mods....Have checked for boost leaks but will check again....Please help I know he should be making more so what gives...Thanks in advance for all help and suggestions.:confused:

If you dont know to look at the log you will have to have ECMTuning program installed. Log is 2nd gear pull.
2nd log is the 3rd gear pull sorry.

probably couldent make over that cause you are getting LOTS AND LOTS of knock 15* knock will destroy your stock bottom in a heart beat, make sure its still good man LOL what wideband do you have and how come you arent logging it? and it could be because who ever tuned your car didnt even touch timing... thats an evo 8 mod 1 map right there unmodified or if it is it barely is. thats just my .02 id get your cash back

looks like you dont even have a WB id get one of those ASAP to know what your AFRs look like. your timing or fuel maps definitly need adjustments and your tuner didnt do that.

your tune is just effed. your VE table is way high and you havent even gotten your injectors dialed in look up the SD 101 on www.ecmlink.com/wiki or have someone that actually knows what they are doing tune it.

id set your knock sensor to come on with 25% throttle and not before to take phantom knock into account, and id change your Coolant CEL to 219* instead of 235... you also arent even logging your map sensor, your actually not logging any of your sensors. tell us who did this tune so we can stay away

you got a tuner that didnt know what the f he was doing. every tuner i know does 3rd gear pulls so the graph is spaced better. plus thqt map looks like a base map from a stock ecu. what tuning solution did your friend have on the car? you didnt even list link or any other tuning as an important mod. you should be happy your friends car did shit the bed on the dyno. the build list looks more like a young owner strapped a big turbo on the car and without the correct mods thought it was going to make big power
 
I didnt mention speed density sorry for the delay. His wideband just recently stopped working and showing 10 all the time. Evo prosport gauge btw...Why wouldnt it be logging any sensors ? He has ecm link v3 and thats what the tuner supposedly tuned with.:banghead:

what did he tuners wideband show for an a/f ration. maybe his wideband isnt broken he is just running so rich he didnt make power,
 
What sensors need to be logged from the sensors already logged? That is how it was when he tuned it, just opened it up with my laptop and this is the log i pulled from doing pulls on the street! These Logs are not from the dyno tune!
 
Well, the logged sensors had to have been setup on someone's laptop to get it to to work. For SD, you should have a MAP and possibly IAT sensor logged. And ideally a wideband to monitor AFR (as long as it's working, like you noted).

Well, the logged sensors had to have been setup on someone's laptop to get it to to work. For SD, you should have a MAP and possibly IAT sensor logged. And ideally a wideband to monitor AFR (as long as it's working, like you noted).

OK so this is something that has to be done in the PAID Tuning process!? So how can they tell him is tuned and running when nothing is set up correctly?

It's something that has to be set up weather your paying someone to do it or not. If they didn't do it i hope they didn't charge you alot cause id get my money back and do the reading and tune it myself if i was him.
 
As Kyle said, it's something that needs setup. Someone obviously set it up on a computer the first time the car was switched over to SD. But this setup is based on the computer and isn't auto-read from the ECU, so if the tuner used their own computer, they'd have to set it up. Without these values, I have no idea how they knew what to adjust and by how much. They are basically tuning blind seeing as the SD is based off the MAP and IAT inputs. Also, tuning without a working wideband is never a great idea as you don't know your true AFR. Yes, you can do this without logging and by just looking at the gauge, but who can actually remember at any single point what the specific AFR was?
 
So I guess another way to look at this is....WOW your friend made 303WHP on a terribly tuned car! Great job! ROFL

Seriously though, he needs to talk to his tuner and get things figured out. They owe an explanation or a redo.
 
your 2nd log still looks like ass... Not as much knock but your calibration is way off, and your sensors still aren't logged. You still didn't follow anything we said. maybe we should get your friend directly on here so we can tell him what to do that way there isn't this 3rd hand business.
 
You do not have to have the values datalogged in order for the car to run and to tune it. It has been setup correctly in the configuration. Without some info from a dyno sheet, all people can do is speculate. But someone has been in the speed density table and changed a bunch of stuff.

What is odd is some pulls looks clean, while others are knock happy.
 
Sounds like the guy agreed to messing up , watch some more vids and decided to try again ...Hes going to blow that engine up
