I have a 98 GSX. The problem is that a battery charger was hooked up backwards and turned on 250amps for starting. Ya, messed up, i know.
Anyways, now the ecu won't log my fuel trims which it did before the incident. Both are zero and don't move. And also I get a P0300 random misfire constantly. As soon as you clear it, it comes right back. It didn't have this before either. I have another ecu on the way.
I reset my idle and my timing which are now perfect. I car seems idle ok. I just cant do any tuning since i have no fuel trim info. My guess is something in the ecu. Any other ideas, thanks.
