New Gauges off by 40 need help.

I just ordered new quges from speed hut and as you cna see they fall all the way back down to zero when they are out of the car, but when i turn the vehicla over they rise to 50 mph and 2 thousand rpm, how do i make it so that there all resting on the needles when they get power?

The picture is when its at accesorie. and not running.

Take the needles off, and put them back on right.

You need to properly calibrate them. Didnt your guage face come with instructions on how to properly calibrate the needle?

No they didnt, they are just overlays, from speed hut... and if i just pull the needles off and place them at the right spots will that work? or is calibrating more complicated?

If I remember correctly you have to turn the cluster upside down and put the needles on so that the pointer is at the very end of its travel. If that does not work,keep trying it in different places until the needle doesn't rest on the stop,but sits right above it.

OK ILL TRY,, so basically..idk im kinda confused. but ill just mess with it,

Didn't do this to my dsm, it was a different car but it worked.

Take the tach needle off and start the car, if you know where your car normally idles then you can put the needle on at the correct place.

For the speedometer take the needle off. Have someone drive next to you car at a set speed, say doing 30 mph, since you know you are doing thirty you know exactly where to put the needle.

i did this to a 3g eclipse and it worked out great. never had an issue with it.
