I tried searching through the forum and couldn't find what i was looking for. I just picked up a Galant VR-4 that is running an AFC plus MAFT. I opened the MAFT up and its set at 0,0,0,D the dip switches are all set to OFF and aux is 0. Which to me means its zeroed out except for D?? and the previous owner has the afc way negative to compensate for the 560's in the car but I would rather bulk tune the MAFT and fine tune the SAFC. The fullthrottle site is not working and I am not sure how to tell which version MAFT I have because the big MAFT sticker is missing. I want to zero the MAFT out and Zero the AFC and retune because I do not know what the previous owner tuned for. So what I am looking for is a link to an install/setup page that will explain what knobs do what and what increments they are adjusting in. Here is a picture.

Set it at Aux=4 and Base=2.

That will set it up like you have 450cc injectors, then do the tuning from the SAFC.

K but like I said I have no manual so I don't know what knob is base. I just want to know where the manual can be downloaded because all of the links from the threads on this site are dead. I would assume the first knob is base. What about the switches?

Here is a pic of whats usually on the inside of the lid.

BASE=2; AUX=4 is to emulate a 2G MAS. If you want to emulate a stock 1G MAS it is BASE=2; AUX=0.
If you email me at [email protected] I can send you the manual.

Site is working now, According to the manual if im reading it correctly I would want to set my AUX=0 and Base=D for 560's. Does this sound right?

Car seems to be ok with aux=0 base=D, I wont get to use a logger til this afternoon so we will see.

Another thing im curious about is that when I setup the MAF as a blow through do I need to do anything different as far as the settings are concerned? Or can I just place it in the UICP and leave the settings as-is?

Well for some reason I am not getting what I want with my settings. With AUX:0 and BASE: D, per MAFT manual for 560's, It does not seem to be making the adjustments correctly. I have to pull out between 25-30% from the AFC in order for the O2 to even start cycling and get the o2 trim at 100%. Can Anyone chime in with their settings for aux and base with injectors around ~560's?

****I searched EVERYWHERE and cannot find a definitive answer as to how to tell if my MAFT is v1.3 or 2.02. This may be my issue!!!!!! Does anyone know EXACTLY what I can look for in the box to differentiate the 2 versions?*****

I would contact fulltechthrottle i think thats the site then tell them what you have looks like version 2 to me. Well i have the 560s but every set up is different, which works best is how mines set up. You need a logger

I have a logger. What im trying to do is find out if I have v1.3 or v.2.02 because the knobs are set up nearly backwards between the 2.

Its sunday they are not open and their forum is full of retards.

nothing told me that but when i got it i was told i was version 2, and i and i have a print out that shows me what to do with that version no problems yet with my set up. The set up on your is the same as mine, if it were differnt the settings would be wondering what mine is but im sure i know what mine is. never saw a early version so i dont know, how the 1 version looks.

Can you snap a picture of the CHIP so I can compare to my chip? For your 560's do you have AUX: 0 and BASE: D?

What I meant by knobs being completely different is that in v1.0 for instance the base knob gets leaner as you go clockwise, in v2.02 it gets richer clockwise.

my camera is down so the numbers on the chip are p89c512rc2bn thats the top row what do you have

the car is down so my settings arent going to be accurate for you just switch to the 560 settings d, but keep in mind that doesnt mean its going to run the way you want it to, my settings are working for me now, but the car isnt tuned either.

I thought FullThrottle put a sticker with the version number on top of the chip?
I would use AUX=0; BASE=F, as the EVO injectors typically flow >585cc.

My chip has a bunch of jibberish numbers printed by the chip manufacturer. I have literally spent HOURS searching through every thread on fullthrottle tech and I have yet to find NOT EVEN ONE reliable post towards how to determine the version of your chip. The support on that forum is ridiculous. Sounds like one guy running the show and he doesnt seem to have his stuff in order. I have already ordered an EVO MAF and have decided to ditch this MAFT out of spite and HUNDREDS of bad reviews and tuning issues with the product. I just do not see it being a reliable source of tuning and will stick to my tried and true AFC. Even zeroed out I can tell the MAFT is not sending correct hz signals.
