I read the other topics but still just needed a opinion. I just did the timing and the water pump because pump was leaking. The car ran like a real champ before i did all of this i put it back together and it runs like crap i am afraid that i messed up the timing or something. I checked the marks three times and they seemed right. Just sitting still the car only reads -10 on the boost gauge where it use to read 18-20 all day long. If i did mess up the timing would the car still be able to start up and sit for a couple mins? I have dsmlink v2 and tried to catch a couple of seconds so i can so you guys and see what you think. Oh i have also checked compression and i get 175-175-160-175 in that order from cylinder 1 to 4. I have checked the settings in dsmlink to make sure nothing reset like the inverted cas option so thats not it either

I can't say anything really jumps out at me from the log file.

You verified the marks with the engine at TDC? Cam dowels were at 12 o'clock? Crank sprocket, oil pump sprocket, and inner cam gear marks were all lined up?

Anything else you touched or just doing a water pump replacement and retiming the engine?

LOL if your vacuum is reading -10 in HG then you probably have a boost/vacuum leak.

Any CELs?

sorry guys forgot i wrote the post i figured it out. When i did the timing i also did my monthly boost test and forgot a hose thanks a bunch
