I have a Autometer EGT gauge i just installed in my car. the car had one already when i bought it but it was a POS so i put a new gauge and probe in it. the prob is about 3" from the head in the #1 runner.

Tonight i took it out with the Ecmlink hooked up and logging and did a hard pull though the gears and in 5th gear about 5900Rpm i looked up at the Egt gauge and saw 1800 degrees i got out of it right away.

The log looked great and no knock at all. Should i go off the gauge or my link??

ill have to check that closer.. my laptop went down so i cant log tell its back from repair , so i have been taking it easy. Thanks i will check my A/F more closely

my egt show 1820 F no knock nothing WO2 show 11.1 before i use mechanical gauge from autometer and show 1500 maybe electronic egt show more ???
