what kind of FPR??

hey i need some help my car is about to come out of the shop, it has 550cc injectors right now but 660cc are on thier way i didnt need a fpr before but im not sure if ill need one now any input would be very appreciated

fuel pressure regulators arent necesary due to larger injectors. They are necesary due to larger fuel pumps. If you run anything more then a 190 a AFPR is suggested.

yeah i have the 255
but i called buscher today and they were totally against the 660 but they did say to get the fpr but what kind would you reccomend?

It depends, there are ALOT of threads on afprs in this forum. I suggest you do a simple search with the word AFPR and you should get more then enough responses.

you want a fpr that has the ability to lower and raise fuel pressure. i would look at the charged air unit and buschur has a new bolt on reg to but it is a tad pricey

Agreed. Spend the extra $ and get something with a reputable person/company behind it.

thanx ofr the input i ordered the buscher one last night
hopefully it does its job, but i have another ? my dad has a galant vr-4
and when you start it up it idles ok for maybe 10 mins and then it starts going weird like its about to die then it goes back to idle, so on and so on
its got the 255 also and 550cc injectors but i doesnt have a fpr do think thats the problem??
