Hey guys, sorry for the long post ahead of time.. Ive recently began to look into the ecmlink/dsmlink v3. I talked to my buddy kenny (kp116) about his a little bit and got some "general idea" about it. But he said that our other buddy matt (mrPeepers) does all his tuning. Doesnt really help me when im across the country. Anyway, a wideband, FPR, and some 660 injectors are in the near future. From what Ive read I dont need a GM maf and translator that correct? Also at first I thought you could do a lot with with a SAFC.. Recently Ive realized thats not the case. Would one be good to have in addition to the dsmlink, or can i adjust the a/f ratio with the Dsmlink and not need the safc? Is the Dsmlink easy to use for a noob at tuning like me?

Ive read up the on the tech articles about the Dsmlink but still a little confused. Any opinions or advise on where to go would awesome.. Thanks guys.

Get DSMlink v2 or ECMlink v3. They are essentially used for the same thing meaning they are both tuning software programs, v3 is an update of v2 with plenty of great features added. Forget the AFC and get DSMlink. The features are incredible over the AFC and it's easy to use. You do not need someone to tune your car for you. Also, the DSMlink forums you will find to be one of the absolute best out there.
