Finally got evoscan logging properly, (without my wideband hookedup). I really have no idea what to base my results off really and need opinions on the little info from this one 2nd gear pull. Why am I not logging knock ? My question is does anything seem off ? is timing being pulled ? anything out of the ordinary ? Other then changing the injector scaling to 450 I have not messed with any other settings, is there anything options settings that can make things better/easier ? I have it on Mitsu MUTIII, ECU:EFI and DTC/ECU is MUTIII EFI, is this all correct ?

Sorry having trouble posting it

Here we go:

Your Injector Duty Cycle gets up to 93%, soon need to upgrade your injectors.

Both of your fuel trims are at 12%, should get them down to 5%, 0% is optimal.

What are you using to tune? You could most likely squeeze some more power out of it, you are not getting any knock. Knowing AFR would help.

Don't log the unneeded items, and log EcuLoad and Estimated lb/min, they give a better idea of airflow then Hz.

Your IDC's do get pretty high and Im guessing if you did a 3rd or 4th gear run to redline they would run over 100% which is not good.

I dont know if evoscan will read knock but looking at the timing its fine. You want to match your timing curve to your ecu's timing map. You can find that here...The DSM ECU Timing Curve

Here is the stock 98 Timing map, with where your WOT pull is most likely highlighted.

If you log Load and RPM you can tell where you are exactly on the map.

Your Timing matches the map so nothing is being pulled, the zero knock reading is correct.

I just ordered some 660's, SAFC, and a 190 with the intention of running a little more boost. Thanks a lot guys. I just replaced the knock sensor so I know it's not bad, I'm pretty happy if I really am running 0 knock. I'm creeping to about 19-20 psi and I'm sure that would lean my stock fuel system out would any of the logged info tell me if I was "hurting" my car. Yea in the run I only brought it to about 5500 rpm so I'm sure I would have definitely overran my injectors. Also are there any settings you guys would recommend changing or enabling ? (baudrate, logging options, ect) ?

Thanks guys !

timing on the log looks good. try to get the load in next time. what tatrix cable do you have? 1.3 or 2.0? if you have the 2.0 then dont waste your cash on a safc... good luck.

Changed my mind before I bought the SAFC, I just purchased the 2.0 cable. I been subscribed to the ecu flash thread and have been watching, I thought maybe it was a little over my head but I'm gonna go that route instead. Just a little confused on how to setup the injectors, maf scaling, roms and definitions. Someone should make a tutorial I'd donate $ :)
